This was a good story but not one I loved. I liked Mason and watching him stand up for himself made me happy. I was with him every step of the way as his silent cheerleader. My problem was Scarlett, I just didn't like her as a person. She comes across as a rude standoffish judgmental snob. I found myself infuriated with her most of the time. This was a quick read that for me was only enjoyable because of Mason.

This was an enjoyable small town romance. Mason is a good guy who I really liked. My issue with the story is Scarlett- I have a hard time liking her at some points. She is very judgmental and I feel like cant listen to reason. I can understand having a history to overcome but I feel like she goes way too far. I did find it a a quick read and really thought Mason is a great lead that grows into his own.
