Author Bio:
Princess Racena McConnell (Yes that’s her legal name) was born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Her parents were both working class citizens who raised Racena with a strong sense of ethics. A few facts about Racena, She likes; Smart, funny people, helping people and brain teasers. She dislikes: snakes, mean people and the fact tha the world is so messed up. Favorite foods: too many to list! Favorite pass-time: spending time with family. Favorite author: Steven King! Life facts: She left North Carolina at age sixteen to move to Summerville, South Carolina, where she still calls home. She is a wife of 30+ years and a mother of 3 adult children and grandmother to 5 grandchildren (but that number is still growing). Mrs. McConnell’s hobbies include swimming, wire jewelry making and of course reading! She started writing at a young age but only became serious about writing when she was forth-seen years young. While her first love is horror, her first novel is of the Paranormal/Romance genre; however she does write in several other genres, and is currently working on a young adult Halloween mystery book along with several others. Along with writing, she is also currently working on her Associates degree in Arts. ‘Promises in the Dark” which is the first book in her series of ‘Secrets of the Mystic’ is currently available and now ‘Shattering the Damned’ is as well. The story is something that had been in her mind for some time, so with some encouragement from her English professor, a while back, she decided to take the plunge and become a self-published author.
