My name is Devin, but everybody calls me Sketch. I opened my own tattoo shop two years ago, and I’ve finally gotten to the point where I’m going to be able to give my wife everything she’s ever wanted. I’m going to be able to take time off and spend a day a week with her. In fact, tonight, I stopped and grabbed some wine, got her flowers, and those chocolates she likes. 


What I wasn’t prepared for was to be met at the front door by her carrying her sh*t out. 


She loves me, but she’s not in love with me anymore. What kind of bulls*it excuse is that? I’ve left her alone too often, I’ve been completely focused on one goal, and apparently she’s sick of waiting. 

So here I stand. Half the man I was, p*ssed as f*ck, because while I was busy making a better life for us, she was under the impression I was leaving her lonely. I know one day she’ll see what I’ve been doing has been for us, and when that day comes… She can damn well come crawling back to me.

Great read, I couldn’t put it down once I’d started reading!

Devin aka Sketch is a tattoo artist who has focused 99.9% of his time on his tattoo business. He thinks life is great until he comes home one day from work and his wife, Nina, has packed up to leave him. Nina tells him that he spends too much time at work and he’s forgotten about her. Sketch is pissed that he’s worked so hard to provide for Nina and she doesn’t appreciate any of it, repaying him by leaving. The only thing Sketch has ever wanted is for Nina to be happy and want for nothing, while the only thing that Nina has ever wanted is Sketch. We follow the two as they live life without the other. Nina learns what it’s like to earn/spend her own money and Sketch learns that his shop will survive even if he isn’t there every second. After some time apart Nina wants to try again but now it’s Sketch that isn’t on board… the battle begins.

This isn’t your typical romance, I really enjoyed that Nina and Sketch have been together so long and they’re still discovering new things about one another. This book has a little bit of everything from humor to steamy moments to tears. I look forward to reading more from this author.
