Have you ever had one of those days where you feel you've lost everything?  For Ella Sinclair that day turns out to be her birthday. Instead of birthday gifts she gets a cheating boyfriend, a rainy night, and a dead battery...what else can happen?

Can someone really fall in love at first sight?  Can Porter Masters and Ella Sinclair fight the instant attraction they feel or will they follow their feelings, and find true love?  

Amazing characters!! I fell in love with Porter from the beginning.  A real sweetheart who treats women as we deserve.  Ella is easy to love and feel for. She goes through so much.  But, instead of becoming cynical, she becomes stronger. 

Be prepared to not be able to put this book down, and make sure to have "Never Far Away" (Book 2) ready for when you turn that last page.  If you are anything like I am you will finish this story and start book 2 right away.

Can you imagine knowing there's something important missing, but it is just out of your reach? For Ella this is her new reality. Can Ella find what is missing? Will Porter's memories be enough to get him through this? Can Porter help Ella remember everything, and can she handle what all she learns?


My heart broke for Ella and Porter. So many obstacles....so many things stacked against them. Will they be able to find their Happily Ever After? Be prepared for the roller coaster ride of emotions as Ella and Porter struggle.

Anie Michaels has done it again...I coudn't put it down. I laughed, cried, raged, and cried some more. Very sweet, sexy story.

After everything Porter and Ella have had to face to be together, all they want is to be together, get married and start a family.  "The American Dream."  Will they find their peaceful "Happily Ever After" or will their lives be one problem after another?  


I loved this series!  One of my favorite series of all times.  I read all 3 books in 2 1/2 days.  I couldn't put them down.  Porter is the perfect book boyfriend.   Anie Michaels has a gift, a way with words that tells a story you feel invested in. I didn't feel like I was reading the story, I almost felt as though I were living it...watching Ella and Porter's story unfold around me.
