Raychel's review of Skylar's Dream by Caissy Boudreau

3.5 Star

**I received this book for a honest review**
Angels, witches, Weres, and vamps! Oh my! If you like fast paced paranormal books this is for you. Although this book wasn't my normal paranormal cup of tea, I enjoyed parts of it. The story is very fast paced and that didn't give the characters time to develop and grow. It is also written in diary type form (I did this and then this happened.) It annoyed me some but I was able to get over myself and finished the book. Skylar seems very immature for 24 and unforgiving. This could be because everything seemed to happen in a week. Also strange that the world kept right on going when churches were being frozen and then burned, their apartment caught fire, schools closed but stores and restaurants stayed opened. This book has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see how the author grows into her writing.
