Amy's 5 star review of Dance with Destiny by Sloan Johnson

So this is my first Sloan Johnson book and I wasn't sure what to expect. I absolutely loved this book! I was so caught up in the story from the beginning and loved all the twist and turns in it. You never know when fate was going to play out!
So here's what we have going on, Dominic has to head to New York for his best friend wedding and it's going to be hard since the weather has taken down all the planes. He is able to get a rental vehicle and while walking thru the airport, he overhears Troy talking about needing to go to New York for his sister's wedding. He offers a ride along with a couple more girls. Neither one of them realize that this ride would change their lives forever. As fate would play out, both guys are going to the same wedding and after a few minor setbacks, realize they are both gay but have yet to come out. They decide to spend the weekend getting to know each other, but soon strong feelings start forming and neither one of them know what to do. Dominic runs away, while Troy hangs out with the newlyweds. Both have issues they need to overcome before they can be together. After awhile they both realize they need each other in their lives and who cares what happens. Troy has decided that its time to stop playing a part and come clean to his family during this time and it crumbles at his feet. No longer having his parents in his life, opens him up to Dominic and what they have together. There are some heartbreaking moments in this book, that had me crying ugly tears but it also goes to show that love can conquer all. I can't wait to read more from this incredible author!
