Lee'Anne's reviews of the Casual Encounter Series by M.S. Parker

Aubree Gamble is trying to get her life back on track after being left by her fiance days before her wedding. Aubree's friends set her up on a blind date
that goes wrong - she's saved by a handsome man whom she never expects to see again yet can't stop thinking about. Her best friend Adelle sets her
up on another blind and when she arrives she finds none other than her mystery man. The date goes really well and when she calls to tell Adelle she
gets a major shock... Great start to the series. Can't wait to read book 2!

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Aubree and Cade strike up a deal - Cade is going to teach Bree to own her confidence and be sexy. Bree decides to take the deal especially since
Adelle is footing the bill. Bree and Cade have one rule going in though - not to fall in love with each other. After going on a few "dates" with Cade Aubree decides to try to
forgive Adelle for paying Cade to go out with her in the first place. Only to get another shock when she meets up with Adelle.

I'm totally in love with Cade and I love that we're getting more and more of his POV. Can't wait to begin book 3!

This book starts with Aubree having made the decision to end the deal her and Cade have after discovering that Cade and Adelle were still sleeping
together. Cade insists that they continue on with their deal and surprises Aubree with a weekend getaway. Aubree is really excited thinking that it will
be amazing to spend the whole weekend having sex with Cade... only Cade has other ideas. He wants Aubree to try out her newly honed skills on
a blind date -- that goes terribly wrong. I really liked that we're getting more of Cades history in this book.
Great continuation and as always leaves you wanting more... can't wait for book 4!

Aubree is fighting hard against developing feelings for Cade. Cade is starting to realize he has feelings for Aubree as well. Aubree knows that if she tells
Cade the way she is feeling that it will be the end of their arrangement... that was their deal, no feelings. This volume is even more about Cade's past which  I really enjoyed. Cade's past is what's holding him back from his feelings for Aubree and we end this one with another shock... on to book 5!

Absolutely fantastic ending to a fantastic series! I couldn't put these down once I started and read the entire series all the way through in one day. You won't want to stop once you've started. Aubree and Cade decide to give a relationship a try only Cade thinks he's going to continue his "job." Aubree immediately lets him know that's not happening
and decides to leave. Cade lets her... then he realizes he can't live without her. He makes the decision to quit being an escort and go back to Aubree. She eventually convinces him to try his hand at art and works at making that a career - with none other than Aubree as his model. I quite enjoyed this entire series well worth a read! Each volume is a solid 4 stars and I would highly recommend them all!

Death of the Spirit (Crossing Death #2) by Rick Chiantaretto Blog Tour

Death of the Spirit *Crossing Death #2* Genre~Dark Fantasy/Occult I have no idea who I am anymore. In Los Angeles, I would have given anything to go home to Orenda, my world where magic was alive and nature spoke to me. Now that I'm back I feel out of place, burdened with responsibility. The human part of me misses the simplicity of Earth, the mage part begs for connection with magic, and the demon part? I don't want to admit that exists. As the darkness inside me grows, I’ll learn to sacrifice for the greater good, as my people have always done. In order to save my family (both mage and human alike), I must face my nightmare, embrace the demon, and descend into the shadowy world of my enemy—the Hell of the Damned. Once there, I will have nothing left to fear but myself: Edmund Gavel, human, mage, demon... maybe monster.
