Ugh! That cliffhanger hit too soon and hard. 😩 Gideon is out for revenge and is going to take down everyone involved that hurt him even if it’s using the one person he loved. Imogene lost her first love years before and is trying to move on even though it hurts. When she meets Gideon, he seems so familiar and she’s falling fast. Their chemistry is off the charts right from the start and those steamy scenes are fire 🔥. There’s a lot of secrets and twists and turns throughout and it does end on a cliffy. I devoured Cruel Saint and the wait for book 2 is going to be rough.
