So these kids are privileged and have their futures planned out. They are the kids who everyone want to hang out with but they seem to have their own clique who loves and supports each other 100%. They are a family and if someone talks bad about them, they take matters into their own. Just because they have the money and futures planned, doesn't mean they don't hurt. Jade had her first boyfriend and thought they'd be together forever. Fate had other plans though. One night changed so much for this group of friends. Jade didn't handle grief well and the truth that needed to come out the next day didn't until years later. Hunter and Jade have always been close but after that night, things were tense between them. This is what happens when you don't talk and get the truth. Hurt takes over and anger rules. It's the truth and healing that this couple needs and they get it in this book. This book isn't about two people finding love and hot sex scenes, no it's about being patient, finding out the truth and healing from it. Seeing if they love and attraction they feel is love or not. I loved this group of friends and how they'd rally around each other. The one part I didn't like was how naive Jade was when it came to sex. I know she hadn't experienced anything with a guy before this but she could have known a little more then she did. Anyway, it was a beautiful book with characters you will love!
