This novel is purely fictional and does not reflect on real-life events. Gymnastics is a hands-on sport that involves many hours of close contact with an instructor. My main goal was to focus not only on the beauty of the sport in detail, but also what goes on behind closed doors and how working with a coach for nearly forty hours a week can evolve into something more. This story is meant to push you, to take you outside of your comfort zone. I hope you take the plunge with an open mind before making judgment.

The third book in the Off Balance series finds a heartbroken and betrayed Ria. Now it may seem strange but I liked the Ria that came out of that heartbreak. We see a more determined Ria who is more focused than ever on her gymnastics and I was cheering her on from the sidelines.

The dynamic with Kova inevitably changes in this book. He becomes more of the supportive coach that she needs. It was fun to see the tables turn, now he's the confused one where their relationship is concerned.

This was my favourite of the series so far. Ria has grown alot over the three books which we really see in this one. She is more determined to put herself first which I was happy about because I'm not sure anyone else is. Of course Kova isn't happy to let her go willingly but with she who I won't name his hands her tied.

The author gives us drama on steroids and I expected nothing less. Some questions are answered when secrets are revealed. If you thought previous cliffhangers couldn't be beat trust me you aren't ready for this one.
