Every time I see there is a new book by Rachel coming out I can't wait to pick it up. This is the 2nd book after Anything You Can do but can be read as a standalone. Madeline's life is a mess and dating in a small town is almost non-existent but she keeps trying. I love her humor and attitude- she just keeps trying even when things go badly. Her first meeting with Adam goes badly courtesy of her puppy Mouse but maybe fate has plans for us all. This is the beginning of a relationship that starts as pretend and develops into so much more. Madeline's quirks and optimism always made me smile and hope for the best for her- while Adam took a little longer to grow on me. But this book has all the classic hallmarks of an RS Grey story- witty banter, comedic moments, and above all heart. Another great book.
