Cleo Hill is a married woman, in love with a man she's never really known—her husband, whom she hasn't seen in eleven years.
Paxton "Torch" Hill is a Notorious Devil, a man who's been wrestling with his personal demons since before he knew the horrors of war.
When a threat against his club means danger could be lurking around his estranged wife's door, Paxton is determined to protect her. Yet, one look at the woman he left behind, and he knows his plans are about to change.
The past is not an easy thing to forget, especially not for a woman scorned. While Cleo isn't the innocent catch he once knew, there's something about that rough and ready man she's not sure she can deny.
After all—they promised each other forever.

RATING:
Wow this book was so full of action! Cleo has to be one of favorite badass chicks. She goes thru so much in this book. I mean she losing her husband for 10 years and fate steps in to bring him back to her. It's like starting all over again. They have to learn how each other tick again along with the trust factor. Cleo is a strong independent character but cant help. falling for her husband all over again. Paxton or Torch, whatever you want to call him, is frustrating. He marries Cleo young but when he comes back from serving, he's messed up in so many ways. He's never forgotten Cleo or his past mistakes. He's moved on with a mc and has respect in it. Once they are together, he has to really fight to keep Cleo. He seriously almost loses her twice. But like in all MC books, the good guys win in the end. I do like both characters and loved all the action in this! Cleo was a fun character. She has her gay friends along with all the old ladies to keep her going. This book was a good read!
