The prologue transports you right to where all the action is and you can smell and feel death . You can feel the pain , the fear and the anguish ....

Just as you gather yourself BAM !!!! Chapter  1 reaches into your chest cavity and merciless  rips your heart out !!!

I must just say " Thank you " to Hope , Poppy's  friend ,  I think she'd be lost without her ❤🏵

This sentence  captures my feelings  about loss " When you lose someone you love ,someone that is part of your life - everything changes".  These words have taken how I feel and vocalised it to a degree .....THANK YOU ! ❤

BACK TO THE STORY .....

Brandon and Connor were brothers from other mothers 😂 when Connor becomes a casualty of war ,  his world comes to a grinding halt and he's plunged into a dark and dreary world , one where sadness and darkness will consume you. Brandon is a walking ,  living time bomb and my heart aches for him ....

Poppy , Brandon and Connor grew up together and Brandon always felt Connor was a better choice for Poppy. 

Poppy and Connor get married and she's left as  a young widow. Brandom is all she has left and she's determined to get him out that deep dark hole ....

People deal with death and pain differently and PTSD  is not " all in the head" ,  it's very real and very scary for those going through it and those having  to watch a loved one go through it 💔💔💔

My heart just shattered  for Connor as well as Poppy and I'm just grateful for the impact Poppy got to have on Connor . My heart will mourn for quite some time ,  his pain was quite real to me .
