This book was a quick sweet (and sometimes) hot read by J.H. Croix.

Having never read any of the other books in the series I am glad that it was a complete standalone but it might help to read the others to know about other characters. 

McKenna and Jack were both not looking for anything steady or serious but, life happened and they stumbled into each other's lives. 
Like I said this was a good, sweet, and hot read. I will be adding the other books in the series to my TBR!
