Oh sweet, colorful Hallie. I absolutely fell for her so hard and all I wanted to do was just hug and hold her. She is just doing what she feels she can do, which isn’t really much. Her family is horrible. One to many bad press and Ransom is hired to help Hallie get her life in order. But she isn’t going to do that without a fight. Both have issues due to family and their past. And they have to work through them before they can be together. And at times I didn’t think Ransom was the one for her. Sometimes I just wanted to shake him. He did redeem himself and these two are just beautiful together. I devoured this book in just a few hours and loved every page.
