I love a good childhood best friends romance and Lex Martin knocked it out of the park with Joey and Logan. The storyline is sweet and steamy with the perfect amount of pain, your heart will make itself known throughout Breathless. We meet Joey and Logan in the other Texas Nights books but you won't have any problems if you don't read them although you should! I adore Joey and how relatable and down to earth she is. She is absolutely perfect for Logan. Logan is a manwhore but he is loyal, hard working and kind. I was excited to see some familiar faces. Breathless is a great addition to the Texas Nights series.
