Boss I Love to Hate by Mia Kayla Blitz

Title: Boss, I Love To Hate
Author: Mia Kayla
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 25, 2019
Dear Mr. Brisken,
How do I hate you?
Let me count the ways.
I hate your smug, sexy millionaire face.
I hate your cocky, skirt chasing, playboy ways.
I hate working as your secretary—but, I love the pay. It almost makes dealing with you worth it.
I hate how my friends call you a BILF, when really BILK (Boss I’d like to kill) is more appropriate.
I hate that I need you to be my date for my best friend’s wedding because my ex-boyfriend, the King of Heartbreakers, and his new busty blonde girlfriend will be in attendance.
But mostly, I hate how once the charade is over, I might not hate you at all...it was so much easier when you were the Boss I Love To Hate
"One of the best office/enemies to lover books I’ve read. Brad and Sonia were so cute! I loved their banter, I loved the way they were with their families. I loved everything about this book. Addictive, funny and so amazing!" - Early Reviewer

"Perfectly written, unique, wonderfulness. I will be rereading this over and over again. One of my top ten books ever! Mia Kayla knocked this one out of the park, she left me with more feelings than I knew what to do with. The ultimate book hangover ( I mean hangover like I couldn't get over it or stop thinking about it), nothing could compare. I had a really hard time reading anything else after this book because it was just that good!" - Early Reviewer

I'm a huge Mia Kayla fan and was excited when I got my hands on this book. She has yet again written a hilarious romance with fun characters. I found this to be a well paced book and easy to read. I loved the character development and build up of Sonia and Brad's relationship. The banter in this book is great. I'm glad this was a dual POV - it really helps you understand Brad especially. I also enjoyed how important family is to both of them. I can't wait until Mason's book!

This book turn a different turn then what I was expecting. I mean Sonia lets her frustrations out to people close to her about her boss. It makes for some awkward times but they were handled so well. While the moments were a bit awkward, they were hilarious as well. I loved seeing the two sides of Brad. He was sweet and fun at home but serious as hell at work. While he made Sonia's job hard it was rewarding in the end. She learned a lot from him and kicked some serious ass keeping him in line. She took her job seriously that's for sure. So enough about work.. Sonia is still getting over as ex.. she wants to prove she's over him by getting a date for a wedding. Not to spoil anything but she's not exactly over him. This honestly drove me nuts. I get she wasn't a 100% trusting of Brad but he was a hell of a lot better then her ex. I'd call this a slow burn but it's more then that. These two connect and show each other their families. Brad has his hands full in this book in and out of work. He love his nieces to death but they take a lot of work. He isn't used to that at all. It was sweet watching him with them. Some hilarious moments came out of them as well. I liked Sonia but like I said before, it took her a while to get over her ex. She was seeing a whole new Brad but it wasn't enough.
I really liked this book and the main characters but man did they annoy me at times
Mia Kayla is a New Adult/Contemporary Romance writer who lives in Illinois. She is the wife to the husband of the year and mommy to three unbelievable cute little girls who have multiplied her grey hairs.

In her free time she loves reading romance novels, jamming to boy bands, catching up on celebrity gossip and designing flowers for weddings.
Most of the time, she can be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end.
She loves reading about happy endings but has more fun writing them.
