This book is dark, complex, and harsh. I'm sure there are people who shouldn't read it because it would be a trigger.
I don't usually read dark mob books. This one drew me in from the start. The push pull of attraction and lust between Quinn and Emily kept me turning the pages. This isn't a book where I can say I like everything that happens. It is a stark depiction of a dark side of life. Still there is an underlying charm that keeps appearing. It is like seeing the rainbow after the rain. It makes things make sense. I hope there are more Cane books. I would like to read Nate's story.
