A beautiful romance of girl determined to get hard to get guy. Amanda has been obsessed with her boss for 3 years. She has always been the straight laced girl meeting boring men not wanting to settle for whatever. The one man she wants she knows she can never have, her boss Mick Bad, lawyer. Amanda embracing a book about being a temptress and goes to a costume party only to meet Mick unbeknownst to her. They have an interlude and despite the circumstances she agrees to a weekend away with the stranger. What follows is intriguing and gut wrenching not just for Amanda but also for Mick. Mick learns a lot about Amanda and himself in the process. Melissa's writing style flows well. I found myself wanting Mick to desperately get over his past and his fears to see what is right in front of him. I enjoyed the book.
