This book was so close to getting a 5 star but I feel like it lacked something and I can’t put my finger on what!

I loved the angsty story between Celine and Kaden. You could feel their anger and frustration with each other. But you could feel the deep rooted love more.

The passion/spiciness was there but… it didn’t feel dark. Just felt like a seedier romance. Maybe that’s what I am missing while reading this.

Great start to a series though! I’m excited to read the other characters stories.

This book gets 5 stars simply because of Dane and how freaking hot he is! 🤌🏻

I didn’t think I would like Abigail just because I didn’t care for her in book one and I am not saying I am 100% Team Abi but… I understand her a little better now and I am okay with her.

The story between her and Dane is just so angsty and hot that I couldn’t wait to continue reading it!

I do like the fact that we got to hear their side of things from the first book and that it wasn’t a giant repeat of book one either.

So… yes… I’m giving it a 5 star for the hotness aspect lol.

5 huge stars for Blake!

Oh lord… I love me a good anti-hero story and that’s exactly what this is.

I thought no one could top Dane but, Blake just did! His angst about life and everything in it - then his all consuming want for Mia. Yep — he’s perfect.

As you can tell this book is Blake and Mia’s story. Again, I really like that the actions from the first two books were not repeated in this one, if anything, it’s a total continuation of the storyline for this group of people.

The book was perfectly plotted out, the character development is great. We are even getting more character development from the other characters as well.

I can’t wait for book 4 now!

What a way to end the series! Bravo!! 🤩

I was nervous to read Hunter and Bailey’s story just because they seemed like such dull characters in the other books. You got a glimpse of Hunter in book one but Bailey was more of a side character in all of them.

However, I stand corrected! I think I like their story just as much as Blake and Mia. You can definitely tell that Hunter is Mia’s darker half as her twin but they both love deep!

Bailey turned into this force to be reckoned with and I was there for it 100%! Hunter is just so yummy as well.

I really enjoyed this series. I would be interested in reading a series about the older generation if it ever happens. ;)
