Normally I don’t start off my reviews this way but PLEASE read the trigger warnings. Bella J says this is her darkest read so far and it is. 
His Queen picks up right where Nicoli leaves off. Nicoli and Mirabella are hot and honestly work so well together. Nicoli is just trying to protect and keep her safe as he has done since childhood. And Mirabella just wants some freedom. It’s darker than what I thought it would be. Kept me turning the pages and now I’m ready for Mirabella to put herself back together and with the help of Nicoli kick some ass and hunt.
