Empire of Lies is book 2 in the trilogy and does need to be read after book 1.
And another cliffhanger. 
I feel Empire of Lies was a little slow and not that I don’t love Tatum but she did pull attention away from Bianca and Callum.
But I did enjoy their steamy scenes and not everything is out in the open for these two and that cliffy leaves us not knowing what the heck is going to happen next. Im excited for book 3.
