BLURB:
I’ve worked for men all my life, been enslaved by them. But my new boss is different—he buys me designer handbags to ensure I’m on time.
But scowls at me when he hands them over.
He’s intoxicating.
Dangerous.
All the things I should stay away from.
The thing is… when his hands touch mine, I’m not disgusted, and I should be. Because he owns a scandalous club, and I work there…
He’s the villain in everyone’s story except mine. In fact, it would classify me as the villain in his story.
And that’s okay, I’m fine with that title.
This book can be read as a standalone in this series as it's Jake's brother's story.

So is A Villain’s Lies my favorite TL Smith read? No. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Especially those steamy bedroom/office scenes. what did I have a problem with? Nothing really. I finished it within 3 hours and had trouble putting it down. It did leave me feeling satisfied but meh . I think I just wanted more background or of the falling for the characters. I enjoyed Grayson and Avani a lot but it felt rushed. Would I read it again? Yes! And probably will very soon!
