Preorder PUCK BOY now:
EXCERPT:
“So, Coach’s daughter, huh?” I ask her.
She breathes out the smallest laugh. “Yep. Hopefully, my dad’s not being
too hard on you all.”
“He’s … well, he’s not exactly easy.” I shrug. “But he’s not terrible
either,” I lie. Dude is terrible.
“Hmm, I call bull.” She smirks, and her eyes dance with amusement
as she heads toward the locker room. “Have a good night, Cam Hardy.”
I walk behind her to the locker room door right next to the one she’s
heading to. “You too, Addison LaConte.” I wink as she looks back at me.
“You know, I meant what I said at that party that night. If you ever want
round two, I’m game.”
She looks stunned. “I’m actually shocked you remember a hookup from
yesterday, let alone weeks ago.”
“Well, let’s see … you called me a Chatty Cathy. That was a first.” I
narrow my eyes. “So, tell me, am I allowed to talk tonight?”
“You are talking. Once again proving my point that you are a Chatty
Cathy.”
“Who even was this Cathy person, and why was she always talking? And
who the hell is Nancy, and what made that chick so negative?” I keep my face
straight. “And for the love of God, why is Luke always warm?”
“You’re an idiot.” She shakes her head, looking down as she smiles.
“Maybe.” I shrug. “But I still made you smile. So, maybe you like idiots.”
“Maybe I don’t.” She takes a step backward so that she presses on
the locker room door, cracking it open the smallest bit.
Before she can leave, I stop her. “Hey, why did you seem surprised that
I remembered things from our hookup?”
“Honestly? As much as you get around, I figured you probably didn’t
even remember our … encounter.”
“Encounter?” I laugh. “Is that what we’re callin’ it?”
“What would you call it?” she says.
Her body glistens with sweat, and, damn, I’d love to help her wash it off.
I walk closer to her, dipping my head down slightly. “I’d like to say it was
me banging you, but, babe, I think you banged me even harder when you
climbed aboard.” I watch her drag in a breath. “So, I’d call it, you wanting
me, so I gave it to you. You got what you needed. And I sure as hell did
too.” I lean closer, putting my hand on the door next to her head. “But now,
Addison, I’m bettin’ you need it again. And I know I do.”
“No,” she says quickly, shaking her head. “I-I don’t.”
“And why is that?”
“Because I don’t. That was a one time thing. I don’t sleep around.”
“I wouldn’t judge you if you did.” I shrug. “But I’d be jealous of the
other lucky bastards.”
“No, I mean, I don’t do that … ever.”
“Yeah, but … I’ve already been inside of you, Addy. So, what would the
harm be in one more time?” Brushing a strand of hair from her face, I tip her
chin upward with my fingers. “You know it sounds fun. You know it sounds
good.”
“This is crazy.” She looks unsure before licking her lips. “Where?”
Jerking my head toward the guys’ locker room, I slide a hand to her waist.
“In there, beautiful.”
“What if someone comes in?” Wide eyes look at me, panicked.
“There’s a lock. Besides, no one is coming in this late.”
Taking her wrist in my hand, I pull her toward me as I lead us into the
locker room. I didn’t come here tonight, expecting round two with the
hottest chick I’ve ever been with. But screw it. This night just got a whole lot
better.

ABOUT HANNAH GRAY
Hannah Gray spends her days in vacationland, living in a small, quaint town on the coast of Maine. She is an avid reader of contemporary romance and is always in competition with herself to read more books every year.
During the day, she loves on her three perfect-to-her daughters and tries to be the best mom she can be. But once she tucks them in at night--okay, scratch that. Once they fall asleep next to her in her bed--because their bedrooms apparently have monsters in them--she dives into her own fantasy world, staying awake well into the late-night hours, typing away stories about her characters. As much as she loves being a wife and mom--and she certainly does love it--reading and writing are her outlet, giving her a place to travel far away while still physically being with her family.
She married her better half in 2013, and he's been putting up with her craziness every day since. As her anchor, he's her one constant in this insane, forever-changing world.
