Worse Than Enemies is a stepbrother bully romance and is a dark read with triggers so be warned.
I really wanted to like Morgan but the way she tries so hard with everyone it was a little exhausting and off putting. But she does has a heart of gold and that is her redeeming quality. Hayes is angry and the twist thrown in there was a tad shocking (of course) but maybe a little much. Overall, I did enjoy most of the storyline and I had to keep telling myself we were dealing with teenagers but this book is not for teens! I really enjoyed the secondary characters. JL Beck always writes an interesting story and unique characters.
