So this was a new author to me but I must say the blurb itself called to me and I knew this was the book for me. I was not wrong!! I loved the small town feel and how everyone came to a football game on Friday night. It reminded me of my small town so much! Anyway back to the story at hand, I'm new to this series so I wasn't sure what to expect.. What I got was so freakin good! Mia is a mother to two boys and just had her world rocked. Her soon to be ex dumped her and took all their money. It's a fresh start for them. The hurt is fresh especially with the boys, especially with the teenage boy..The author did a fabulous job of writing this, the anger and the hurt was spot on.. The eagerness to spend time with dad only to be hurt yet again by him was perfect as well. She wasn't looking for love but Cam has a way of being charming and showing her what a real man is supposed to be. Cam's whole life has been football and now since a injury has him questioning whether or not he's ready to give it up. He goes back home to get perspective and gets so much more in the process! I love how Mia didn't cave to him. she made him work for it. Her boys and getting a job was her main concern. This was such a great book with humor and so much love!! I will definitely be reading more from this series and the author!!
