So normally in dark bully books, you have the head popular guy who's tormenting the new girl but in this case the tables have turned. You have Ace and his brothers, who have had a hard upbringing and had to work for everything they have. It wasn't pretty what Ace had to do to make ends meet for his brothers. They are thrown into a world that they don't want but know deep down, there's opportunities and doors that will be open to them that wasn't before. Let's just say the disclamier about possessive, tattooed and motorcyled alphaholes is a perfect way to describe Ace. This man, has a lot of anger in him. He's had to grow up and be a man fast. He had to do things to keep the family going. He isn't happy about moving in with his Uncle and let's him know it at all times. He doesn't want to mingle with the rich and preppy kids at all. Meeting Remi doesn't really change his mind about the kids at Sterling Prep at all. He knows her type and wants to torment her just to get to his uncle. He soon finds out that his angry heart is capable of loving and dating but doesn't let that stop his plan. Remi grew up rich and had all the nicest things in life and then her world got rocked. She was no longer the perfect little rich girl and the most popular. The worse thing, her ex best friend and just a downright horrible girl is now her step sister. She makes life hard for Remi. Her mom tries but man she needs to wake up and realize that her perfect princess is no longer that. For Remi, it was a blast to watch her grow as a person. She went from this hurt little girl to a bad ass who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She grows a backbone and that's due to Ace. He makes her see the world in a different way.  This book has all the makings of a good book. It has mystery, angst, spoiled rich kids getting taken down a notch and of course romance. I will say the ending will wreck you and you will wanting book 2 the minute you finish and can wrap your head around what you just read!! This book was seriously Phenomenal!!!! I wish I could give it more then 5 stars cause it deserves it!!!!
