Billy Harrington
A young girl walks into a bar…

I’d like to say this is the start of a bad joke, but it isn’t really.

Only I don’t fault him for sleeping with my sister.

This is the story of my life.

Then tragedy strikes—again—and I’m left with a dilemma.

Can I count on the person I despise the most in Blue Ridge?

UNITED INDIE BOOK BLOG REVIEW
REVIEWER: AMY
RATING: 5 STARS
First off I love reading this author and I have recently found her series with the older characters and have fallen in love with them! I love seeing the characters already settled, have careers and possibly children. This one is no different. Billy comes from the family who has the wealth and respect of the town. He has had his fair share of ups and downs in his life and feels like he's the joke of the family. The one who disappoints and never does anything right in his father's eyes. He is out to prove to himself he can be successful. When fate throws him a curveball, he doesn't know how to handle it. He has to deal with the woman across the road who makes life hard for him. She has been known to complain when things are to loud or drunks come on her sidewalk. Anyway these two have a hatred towards each other. Billy has a reputation and this is the part I found super annoying especially with Roxanne. She kept throwing it in his and never really letting him explain himself on it. I think she did it to keep him at arm's length and didn't want to admit she really liked him. Billy was a great character. I absolutely Loved him! Yes almost everytime he opened his mouth, he'd get in more trouble from Roxanne.. It made for some hard truths from his bartender for him to realize what he did wrong. Roxanne definitely kept him on his toes and made him work to change her mind about him. She also had to make some hard truths when it came to Sadie and him having a relationship without her in it. I must say that I loved that a)they were older and b) that Roxanne was a chunky girl with curves and despite her insecurities she had, she still was open with him about certain things. These two definitely have the fire and use it to make their relationship a whole lot more fun. The banter between them makes you even questioning if they like each other or not haha. Despite all that, this book was a fun book and I can't wait to read Charlie's story next!!!

Meet L.B. Dunbar
I’ve been accused of having an over-active imagination. To my benefit, this imagination has created over twenty novels, including the creation of a small-town world (Sensations Collection), rock star mayhem (Legendary Rock Star series), MMA chaos (Paradise Stories), rom-com for the over forty (The Sex Education of M.E.), and a suspenseful island for redemption (The Island Duet). My alter ego, elda lore, creates magical romance through mythological retellings (Modern Descendants). My life revolves around a deep love of reading about fairy tales, medieval knights, regency debauchery, and strong alpha males. I love a deep belly laugh, a strong hug, and an occasional margarita. My other loves include being mother to four grown children and wife to the one and only.
