Christine Baxter was having a helluva night. Her blind date had run out on her and the check. She had run into a mugger who tried to steal her purse and succeeded. And finally, her beloved Beetle, Pinkie, had run out of gas on a deserted highway. Her only hope was a dimly lit club sign on the other side of a deep embankment riddled with trash. Apparently, her guardian angel had the night off.

Gabriel Easton and Michael Westmoreland were best friends looking for that special woman to share their lives and their bed. When the beautiful blonde literally fell through their club door, they thought their prayers had been answered. Michael knew she was sent from heaven. Gabriel felt she was hell on heels. Both agreed that she was perfect for them.

And Christine? Well, she thought she was in a lot of trouble.

Michael sighed. ā€œOkay. We canā€™t send her out like this.ā€ He shook his finger at Gabe. ā€œBut you check her. And notify someone that sheā€™s here.ā€

Gabe nodded. ā€œIā€™ll even stay up with her tonight.ā€

ā€œI have no doubt that youā€™re going to be ā€˜upā€™ tonight, but youā€™re just going to have to suffer. The womanā€™s in no shape to fend off your seductions.ā€

Gabe was affronted. ā€œI have no intention of that tonight,ā€ he hissed. ā€œGod, youā€™d think I was a rapist or something.ā€

Mike saw Christine glance up in fear at hearing the word, and he hastened over to help her to her feet and explain that Gabeā€™s mouth overrode his brain on a daily basis.

She cautiously peeked at the men. ā€œI canā€™t stay here. Iā€™m grateful but I donā€™t know you.ā€

ā€œHusband or boyfriend to worry about?ā€

ā€œGabe!ā€ Mike scowled at him. He really did sound like some serial predator.

ā€œI have an ex-husband and a friend, but she has three kids at home. I wouldnā€™t want to bother her.ā€

ā€œWell, then, itā€™s either us or the hospital. Which would you prefer?ā€

Her lips trembled as a tear spilled down her cheek. ā€œI donā€™t have any health insurance yet, so I guess itā€™s here.ā€ She straightened. ā€œBut Iā€™ll be gone in the morning and I insist on paying you for your hospitality.ā€

Gabe started to protest, but Mike waylaid him with a hand on his shoulder. ā€œWe can talk details later. For now, letā€™s get you comfortable upstairs.ā€ He reached for her gently and cradled her in his arms, trying not to think about how good she felt right there.

Gabe trudged behind them, opening the elevator to the top of the warehouse. When it stopped with a slight bounce, the door opened, and he ushered them in to a stunningly decorated room. ā€œWelcome home.ā€

Both Michael and Christine hesitated at the unusual pronouncement.

ā€œFor tonight,ā€ Christine murmured.

ā€œOf course,ā€ Gabe hastened to reply while Michael walked into the spare bedroom, wondering why he suddenly wanted her to stay forever.

UNITED INDIE BOOK BLOG REVIEW
REVIEWER: LAURA
RATING: 4 STARS
Sexy and Fun!
I donā€™t understand the name of this book, but I did like it. Christine, Gabriel, and Michael are certainly not angels. Christine may have seemed to be an angel since she seemed to fall from heaven. Even though she was scraped and bruised from a fall down an embankment they were at tracked immediately.
I love the reaction Gabe has when Christine says she thinks he and Michael are gay. It is scenes like that that make the book so funny and sexy. I really enjoyed this book. I think you will too.

RATING: 5 STARS
I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. This is my first time reading one of Maggie Adams books. I enjoyed reading this very short and quick read. Michael and Gabriel are everything you want to have in Doms. Christine is curious and needing a little more in her life. I was drawn in right from the start! Who doesnā€™t love a good MĆ©nage???  If you love reading about MĆ©nage Then this is the one for you. You will be drawn into it just like me. Keep up the good job! I can't wait to read more from Maggie.

Death of the Spirit (Crossing Death #2) by Rick Chiantaretto Blog Tour

Death of the Spirit *Crossing Death #2* Genre~Dark Fantasy/Occult I have no idea who I am anymore. In Los Angeles, I would have given anything to go home to Orenda, my world where magic was alive and nature spoke to me. Now that I'm back I feel out of place, burdened with responsibility. The human part of me misses the simplicity of Earth, the mage part begs for connection with magic, and the demon part? I don't want to admit that exists. As the darkness inside me grows, Iā€™ll learn to sacrifice for the greater good, as my people have always done. In order to save my family (both mage and human alike), I must face my nightmare, embrace the demon, and descend into the shadowy world of my enemyā€”the Hell of the Damned. Once there, I will have nothing left to fear but myself: Edmund Gavel, human, mage, demon... maybe monster.
