I’ve wanted Parker story since the first book in the series, this can be read as a stand-alone but better if you start with book one. It’s heartbreaking and to know our veterans are hurting like this in real life just makes it more so. I liked the flashbacks so we can get deeper into the whys and how’s of Parker. I read it so fast and now must wait to know what happens.
