Finding the Magician is the third book in the Thirty Days series, if you haven't read the first two books you should stop reading this review (possible spoilers ahead) and start with book one. So after finishing up Thirty Days book 2, I had some mixed feelings about continue with the series. However, I really wanted to find out how Marcus and Abigail's story plays out. I wasn't disappointed, a little heart broken at times but happy to have read it. Abigail has her memories back, is in a good place in her life and is ready for Marcus, who seems to have disappeared. Fast forward a few months and they are back together with just a few hiccups along the way. I love Marcus's personality, I expected him to just be completely lost and given up but once he had Abigail he was pretty much good. Abigail had some moments that seemed immature but she has so much growth in the three books that you can see her just bloom. I'm still a little "off" on how this ended, I just feel that the twist at the end was too much of a shock and right now in denial. The authors writing style is easy to read and the story flows nicely between both Abigail and Marcus. A nice romance to give hope. |
