Author Interview

1. How do you come up with the main idea & the characters?

Gosh so many different ways. It can be a song I hear or a place I visit that inspires me.

2. What are you future writing plans?

Just to keep writing until it stops being pleasurable. Hopefully I will be writing for many many years to come!

3. How did you get started as a writer?

I've always loved writing poetry and song lyrics but it took a move to Scotland for the novel flood gates to be opened!

4. Who inspires you to write?

My husband and daughter are what keep me going and encourage me to write. But inspiration comes mainly from music and Scottish countryside.

5. Where would you like to travel for book related "research"?

Canada for sure. One day I will visit there. I have a dear friend in Ontario who I started writing to at age 8 and have met once but would love to meet again.

6. Who are your favorite authors?

So many! I love Emily Bronze, Lisa Jewell, Melynda Price and JD Salinger to name a small few!

I'm a happily married mum with two crazy dogs and a thing for men with tattoos! In May 2012 I relocated from Yorkshire to my favourite place in the world, Scotland. The time since then has been a rollercoaster!

I love writing, singing and I'm very passionate about music. My tastes are quite eclectic.
