UNITED INDIE BOOK BLOG REVIEW
Into the Rain by Michelle Irwin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. This is the third book in the series and you must read the first two to understand the storyline.
Have you ever read a series, knew it was coming to an end and didn’t want to finish because you knew you would miss it when it ended? This series was like that for me. I knew it was ending, but I didn’t want it to.
Evie and Clay now know the true history of Clay’s family. After living in Europe for a while, they are whisked back to New York City to rescue one of Clay’s family members who is being held captive by the Rain. Now they have more help. Ethan, Clay’s older brother is helping them. He has been a supporter of both Clay and Evie ever since Evie saved them from a Wendigo. Mounting a rescue mission with both Ethan and the Fae court is a monumental task, especially when they must infiltrate the one place Evie should never go.
While all this is going on, Clay’s father and sister is finally confronted with a family secret that leaves the family rattled and with a new truth about who and what they actually are.
I so did not want to get to the end. I actually cried. I knew it was a possible outcome, but not one I wanted. You see, deep down, I’m an HEA kind of woman. That’s all I’m going to say about it.
The writing continues to be amazing. You truly get the idea of what talent Ms. Irwin has when she can write both and exceptional paranormal series and an exceptional YA/NA series. Thank you for killing me Ms. Irwin. You are amazing!!
