You and I will not be staying in the same home. I suggest you call yourself a cab and go to a hotel.” I couldn’t help but chuckle. “Where I’m going is upstairs. Now . . .” I grabbed the handle of my suitcase. “If you’ll excuse me, I’ve had a long day, and I’d like to go to my room.
