RATING: 5 STARS
This my first time reading one of Melissa Klein books. This is the third book in this series. I fell in love with Bash and Grace. Bash and Grace is perfect for each other. I will be definitely going back and reading the first two books in this series. I HIGHLY recommend this series. I can't wait to read another awesome book from you. You will be hooked into the story like I was.

Melissa Klein writes contemporary romance about everyday heroes fighting extraordinary battles. Whether facing the demands of caring for a child with special needs or the struggles of a soldier returning home, her characters take on the challenges life throws at them with perseverance, courage, and humor. She lives in Atlanta with her family.

“Stay?”
“For just a while.”
She snuggled into his body. “I wish…”
“My grandmother had a saying about if wishes were horses.”
“I feel so guilty when others would kill to have my life. I’d trade it all for a little house in the suburbs and a family.”
His eyes widened.
Oh, crap. How had she let that slip? He could probably feel the noose tightening. “I didn’t mean I’m expecting something permanent to come from this.”
“Don’t be sorry. You were being honest, something I’ve been trying to get you to do. I was only wondering why you don’t quit acting if that was the life you want.”
“I won’t have to. One day no one will want me.”
“Anyone who doesn’t see your value is a fool.”
“Women have a short shelf life in Hollywood. I figure I’ve got less than ten years left in my career.”
“What will you do then?”
She shrugged. “Become someone else.”
“You’re very good at that.”
“Will you ever be able to forgive me? Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d go home with a man, much less anticipate that I’d…”
He arched an eyebrow. “Be forced to spend the next six weeks with him.”
“That isn’t what I was going to say. I didn’t think I’d have feelings for anyone again after David.”
Tension radiated from him. “I hate that his secret is hurting you.”
“Why, other than the fact you hate deception?”
“I want you all to myself.”
She’d lie to the world, but she couldn’t lead him on. “I wish things were different too, but that’s not in the cards. I made David a promise and I intend to go through with it.”
