TRIGGERS->ALL OF THEM
RATING: 5 STARS
The cover art is a phenomenal match for what unfolds in between them !
The prologue had my head spinning and my stomach in a massive knot !
Katie quite literally went from the pit to the frying pan ! She traded 1 prison for another the only real difference is her keeper .
Katie didn't have the best childhood
She was home schooled and her mother hid her from the world. However her sister was treated differently which left me wondering why ? Both Her father and sister left home , left Her by herself with her , to fend for herself, there is something off about mother dearest ....
Her job at the diner was an escape from her sad reality but it also led to something more sinister, Mason
While I'm still trying to wrap my head around Katie and her mom , Mason comes along and blows my mind ! The wheel is turning but the hamster is dead !
The ending had me " flicking the pages " of my kindle and I was like WTH?!?!?
I'm not a big fan of cliffhangers but I this instance it was an epic move on the author's behalf !
If you want the definition of twisted don't bother with a dictionary , just read " Love Obscene "
Natalie Bennett is the creator of erotic stories that always come with a warning label. She writes about depraved alpha a**holes and women that love to hate them. Her books don't follow any specific tropes, have no set word counts, and tend to deviate from traditional HEA's.
When she isn't in front of her computer she's spending time with her husband and their three little boys.
Natalie is an avid fan of caramel frappes, horror movies, Shameless, and of course, reading.
