We get a glimpse of Ethan and Piper in the first book but we really don't know them at all. Ethan was a screw up. He's always lived in the shadows of his older brother. He made some bad decisions which didn't bring him to the greatest places or decisions. He makes the decision to sober up and has been clean for 10 months now. He has a great job working for his brother and making strides to be a good brother again. Something is missing in his life though... Enter Piper.. this girl has dealt with some hardships in life but was determined to make her dream a reality. She finds that she or Ethan can't keep their eyes of each other. After the wedding they have a week off in Hawaii. Time to have some fun! I liked this story better then I the first one. This one is sweet mixed with stressful/scary times. I have a lot of respect for Ethan. He knew that Piper had a lot going on and went at her speed rather then hurry into it. The moments they shared were extremely sweet and sometimes sexy. He opened up to her about his past, as did she to him. They realized all that stuff was in the past and they wanted a future together. He also was there to support and love her during the stressful/scary times. She was not one to take a handout unless she knew she had no choice in the matter. I loved how strong and determined she was. She was another to open Ethan's eyes and make him the see what was really important in life. I can't wait to see if there will be another book in the series.. I'm hoping Erik and Avery. (hint hint lol)
