It was time to fight back.
Time to live.
Too much of my life had already been taken from me by a man that should have protected me. At the hands of pure evil I have lived in fear. When most young women were learning to love, I was fighting to live.
I had broken free of the hate.
Finally getting the chance to feel what real love was, but with all good things, bad times seem to follow. At least for me it does. My name is Payton Walters and I refused to allow them anymore of my freedom.
I will not fall…
Not this time.
C.A. Harms is like any other addicted reader. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories. She hasn't always been a lover of Romance and had once been addicted to a good Mystery. Just recently she has taken on a new liking and now is a full blown Romance novel addict.
She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. You will always find her with her kindle or paperback in hand as it is her favorite pass time.

Clash is an emotional read that will break your heart and then put it back together in the end.
Payton has suffered abuse at the hands of her father since her mother left when she was just a child. Her only solace is her best friend, Casey’s house, also the home of her long-time crush Dylan. When Payton is almost raped by one of her father’s drunk friends she runs away and is saved by Dylan and his mom – whom she then moves in with. Now, 2 years later, Dylan has moved 45 minutes away to college while Payton and Casey commute from home. Payton has pined after Dylan the entire time but believes he sees her as nothing but a victim, until she shows up at his frat house to drop off mail and he answers the door stark naked, steaming things up pretty quickly. The two discover an unwavering love for one another, add in Payton’s mom showing back up in her life and this makes for a great read!
I love the way this story unfolds, I’m usually not a fan of books that start off so many years ago then skip forward but CA Harms does a fantastic job with it in Clash. It’s a real page turner and I really enjoyed the look into Casey and Seth’s life too, maybe they’ll get their own story?? I look forward to reading more from CA Harms!
