UNITED INDIE BOOK BLOG REVIEW

Dark Room (Society X)Dark Room by Heidi McLaughlin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There will be no spoilers in this review. You need to read this amazing story for yourself and experience the magic that Heidi Laughlin and L.P. Dover have created!!
When I opened this book and started to read, I was immediately thrown out of my comfort zone. The first sentence scared me to pieces. Sex club?? Wait, I don’t read about books like this. What are these wonderful authors doing to me? I was immediately on guard and fearful that the book was going to be about topics I have no desire to read. Then, I continued to read, admittedly with a little trepidation. As the story progressed, I was hooked. I had thoughts and questions I needed answered… When will the main characters figure out who the other is? How will it happen? What gives it away?? I needed to know and I needed to know now! I couldn’t stop reading this book, it’s so addicting. It was like binge watching your favorite show on Netflix. You can’t stop reading.
The characters are all three dimensional, well written, and have great dialogue. The “bad guys” you want to deck, and the main characters are just plain awesome!!
I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!!!! Both Heidi McLaughlin and L.P. Dover are amazing authors in their own right. Every time L.P. has a new book out, it automatically goes to the top of my ‘Need to read or die pile.’ I would give this book more than 5 stars, but for some crazy reason, it’s not allowed.
